I used to use this app, and for some unknown reason, it still fails to update my DynDNS accounts since I updated to Mavericks . I switched back to DNSUpdate (shown under “Similar Software” above) which continues to work just fine in Mavericks.
Maybe it will be working as expected in mavericks by the time Yosemite is released ;).
[Sorry for the snarkiness, but I know people who work at Dyn, and this is not up to their usual level of excellence. I guess they know networking, but not Mac Development?]

Do we HAVE to see the app in the menubar? I'd really like to hide that if at all possible. My menubar real estate is precious, and while I appreciate the convenience of having the status close by, I'd much rather leave it out of my menubar and simply send me a notification if something is wrong. Most of the time, there aren't any problems - so taking a spot in my menubar is unwarranted...and unwanted.

For those who cant get it working try:
cd ~
rm -rf .dynupdater/
I was able to launch it using this but then when I tried quitting and re-launching it wont start up again. Looks like the daemon is running though.

They are still totally unresponsive, after over a year. I have tried many times. I filed a BBB Report. I've even tried to buy their service, but they simply will not respond at all to emails, won't let me log in to my account even though the free dyn ip stays active on that account because I update it. Completely unacceptable, beware of this company. The Daemon doesn't work after a restart as said before.
